Note: Most of these beautiful display pieces on this and the following pages were created by the Master Lapidary Artist, Ken Fredericks. He was the foremost designer of mounts for scrimshaw. His work is magnificent - the display pieces he has created have been the canvas for the most well known Scrimshanders. Each piece is aesthetically pleasing to the eye and is a joy to scrimshaw. Mr. Fredericks used the finest exotic hardwoods, ivories, shells, and semi-precious stones. Ken has past; may he rest in peace.
